About Fuzzy Ears

Owner/Operator, Jo Woodison, is a lifelong animal lover; responsible, diligent and dedicated. Jo attended the Marin Humane Society's Canine Behavior and Training Academy (1 and 2) and completed a 6 month internship in their Behavior and Training Department. Jo is a registered AKC Canine Good Citizen evaluator and is a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT), dogTEC, and is a student member of the Society of Veterinary Behavior Technicians.

A refugee from the computer software industry, Jo has worked at the East Bay SPCA, Tony La Russa's Animal Rescue Foundation and at several emergency veterinary hospitals. In addition to dog training, she also works at a holistic veterinary center and volunteers at the Marin Humane Society.

Although British by birth, Jo now resides in Sonoma County where she is owned and trained by a flat-coated retriever mix named Shadow and an Australian German Shepherd named Bramley.

Jo is Pet First Aid certified, and is a member of the Bay Area Veterinary Technicians Association and the American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association.
